STUDENT AMBASSADORS
What is the student ambassador Program?
Student Ambassadors play an important role by sharing information with their communities about the NYC Race of Hope and raising awareness about mental health.

WHAT IS A STUDENT AMBASSADOR?
The key role of a student ambassador is to inspire peer, family, school, and community participation in the NYC Race of Hope.
A student ambassador is the voice and face of the NYC Race of Hope to Defeat Depression 5k, someone that peers, school administrators, or perspective sponsors can turn to for information about supporting and participating in the Race.
Through biweekly meetings, ambassadors will bring their own unique set of skills and collaborate with other Student Ambassadors to develop and execute plans to involve their schools, fellow students, friends and families and request sponsorships and donations. Together, they create a network of student advocacy and community involvement that will culminate with the NYC Race of Hope in May 2026 during Mental Health Awareness month.
